After analyzing user behavior on the web to understand the landscape, we planned to grow the business through an integrated search engine marketing campaign, placing heavy emphasis on search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, and reputation development.
The most effective tactic for Google ranking improvements was a manual link building campaign that involved outreach to media outlets such as newspapers, news stations, and big-name digital publishers. In addition to the brand awareness created, the outlets linked back to GMR Transcription’s website, improving its standing in the search results (this is called “backlink building”).
