Website design is a never ending, there is innumerable number of websites and hardly can you compare one website with other in terms of design, images and color combinations. Ever wondered how a design can be so unique, no it’s not unique it’s only that you cannot find your drop of water in the large ocean. But Internet world has grown to such a large extent with majors like Google, yahoo and MSN, that original content and Technology is always appreciated.

Everybody wants to be ranked high with major search engines for certain keywords, your design work are rated good only if you are able to be seen in search engines. Otherwise your website is only found by people who know you.
Here are some tips for a good website design. These may look too obvious but you will be surprised how few designers follow them:

• Design website that reflects the theme of your business and your unique selling proposition
• Have a good use of color combination charts and palettes do not fear experimenting with colors
• Do not use reflecting colors on the website it becomes hard to read the content.
• Make a note of following points when you start a web design
  • Basic document Layout with proper structuring
  • Have a proper formatting to the text entered on the web page. If the text is rend from editor then there is not much work to do. If you are aware of validated HTML create html page and copy the html page into the html view of the editor.
• Use gif images as far as possible with transparent layout, though it takes some time it makes your work simpler.
• a Save the images with interfaced option, so that image starts loading along with the page.
• a If the image has large size store it in .peg format as it occupies less space than gif images.
• a Have div tags written for all images
• a Use proper commenting structure for the tables and avoid using unnecessary tables.
